ABOUT ME

I am a Geochemist and Geochronologist studying water/rock interaction processes. I am developing, and applying cutting edge analytical mass spectrometry and mass-balance modelling approaches to understand key element cycles in the oceans relevant for Earth’s climate system. Further, I also develop isotope tracing tools to trace timing and extent of water/rock reactions relevant to carbon sequestration technologies.

Currently I am a Research Associate at the Université Laval in Québec (Canada). I have wide research interests that touch multiple sub-disciplines within the field of Geochemistry this includes understanding Earth element cycles, metamorphism and orogenesis and assessing climate solutions such as CO2 sequestration. This puts me in touch with people of various backgrounds.
